The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage by promoting Indian classical music, classical dance, folk music, yoga, meditation, crafts and other aspects of Indian culture . Rajagiri is the nodal center for SPICMACY in Kochi. Every year the college host atleast two programmes through SPICMACAY when eminent artists visit the campus , interact with students and also perform. Artist who visited the campus include Dr. L Subramanium, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Grammy-nominated flute exponent Shashank Subramanyam.
The SPICMACAY Kerala State Convention "Sargam 18" was hosted by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences from January 26-28, 2018. Eminent Artist who performed during the three day convention include Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia (Bansuri), Dr. L. Subramanium (violin),Ustad Shahid Parvez Khan (Sitar), Smt Sujatha Mohapatra (Odissi) and Smt. Meenakshi Srinivasan (Bharatnatyam). Workshops in Carnatic music, Odissi, Koodiyattam, Kathakali, Hindustani Music, Mohiniyattam, Pottery, Kerala mural painting, Cherial painting, and saw dust mask making were held on all the three days. Traditional art forms like Eddaka, Chakyarkoothu, and Panchavadyam were also showcased.
