SPICMACAY

The Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPIC MACAY) is a voluntary youth movement which promotes intangible aspects of Indian cultural heritage by promoting Indian classical musicclassical dance, folk music, yogameditation, crafts and other aspects of Indian culture . Rajagiri is the nodal center for SPICMACY in Kochi. Every year the college host atleast two programmes through SPICMACAY whein eminent artists visit the campus , interact with students and also perform. Artist who visited the campus include Dr. L Subramanium, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pandit VishwaMohan Bhatt,  Grammy-nominated flute exponent Shashank Subramanyam.

CELEBRATIONS

Culture plays an important role in the development of a nation. It represents a set of shared attitudes, values, goals and practices. Culture and creativity manifest themselves in almost all economic, social and other activities.  Rajagiri Focuses on preserving and pursuing the art and culture of our nation through organizing arts festival and by celebrating the major festivals of our state and country within the campus. Major days are also observed in the college like Independence day, Teachers Day, Yoga day etc...
