The programme is designed for individuals who are in helping or person centered roles. This carters to the members of the academic profession, voluntary organizations, support services, personnel engagements, youth workers and who are engaged in providing guidance and advice to various age groups of people. This course would enable the participants to gain better understanding on the process of helping profession and make their people engaging roles more professional and effective. This would be a foundation for the participants who want to pursue a professional career in counseling and therapeutic support.

Any graduate can apply for these certificate courses; however, preference will be given to professionals like, teachers, managers, employers, social workers, nurses, psychologists, development practitioners, NGO representatives.

As an IQAC initiative, Department of Psychology, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, in collaboration with Guru Angad Dev Teaching-Learning Centre of MHRD (PMMMNMTT) SGTB Khalsa College, Delhi University; is co-ordinating a One-Week National Online Faculty Development Program from 26/10/2021 to 01/11/2021. The Key Topic of focus for the Program is “Strategies for Enhancing the Mental Health of Teachers & Students”.
About the FDP:
The FDP shall include online and flexible mode and will be equivalent to face to face one week FDP.
It fulfils requirement, as per CAS of UGC for promotion requirements of the teachers.

Administrators or teachers from various Higher Education/School Education.
No student shall be provided with this certificate. However, Research scholars / B.Ed students who are aspiring to be teachers may be allowed, who will be given certificate of participation in Workshop with same title and not as FDP.
Terms & Conditions:
Blended Mode: The sessions would be held online every day from 2.00 P.M to 5.00 P.M. The participants are expected to attend the live sessions. However, the recordings of live sessions would be made available in the Learning Management System (LMS) to those who are not able to join the live sessions. The feedback and assignments shall be completed on the LMS on a day to day basis.
Certification:
Certificates with Grade shall be issued to all those who successfully complete the daily feedback, assessment and final Quiz in the LMS as per norms (50% or above).
The certificate of FDP is equivalent to One-week face to face FDP and fulfils requirement as per CAS of UGC for promotion requirements of the teachers.
Grading will be done based on: Attendance, Online Quiz (based on MCQs), Assignments & Project

We are delighted to invite you to participate in a Three Day Hands-On Faculty Development Program on "MS Excel Essentials with Statistical Analysis for Academicians” organised by Centre for Statistical Analysis and Department of Statistics, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Cochin, India. The objective of this FDP is to provide hands-on experience in basic and advanced MS Excel functions through different case studies which will help simplify your routine personal and professional tasks.

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is organizing the second edition of GROW (Get Ready for Opportunities at Workplace) 2024, a comprehensive five-day faculty development program tailored for the RCSS Kalamassery campus scheduled from May 27 to May 31, 2024. This initiative aims to empower faculty members with the requisite skills and knowledge to excel in their academic roles.
The inaugural day of the program will be dedicated exclusively to the formulation of course plans within each department. This strategic allocation of time ensures that faculty members commence the program with a clear roadmap, thus optimizing subsequent sessions.
Over the ensuing four days, a series covering a wide range of topics related to learning and teaching. The faculty members will derive valuable insights from these workshops as they endeavour to enhance their pedagogical practices for the upcoming academic year.
A 5-Day Faculty Development Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Higher Education Institutions is scheduled to be held on 5th November 2024 at Carmel Hall, RCSS. This workshop is designed to equip faculty members with essential knowledge and skills to foster entrepreneurship and innovation within academic settings.
The first session of the workshop, titled "Entrepreneurship Opportunities in Higher Education Institutions," will be led by Mr. Ajay Basil Varghese.
