Dr. Bincy C. C. is a dedicated social work educator and researcher with a doctoral degree in Social Work from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam (2024). She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the department of social work. Her areas of expertise include adolescent well-being, family violence, women's empowerment, community development, and geriatric care. With strong field and teaching experience, she blends academic rigor with hands-on practice. She has presented at international forums including Vives University, Belgium, and is actively engaged in research, publications, and community-based projects.

  • Doctoral Research – Conducted a strength-based intervention study aimed at enhancing resilience, self-esteem, social support, and overall well-being among children exposed to family violence. The research explored psychological and social dimensions of recovery and informed intervention models in child welfare.
  • Minor Research Project – Led a college-funded study on Resilience and Vulnerability among Flood-Affected Communities in Kochi, Kerala. Independently conceptualized, implemented, and documented the project, which deepened understanding of disaster recovery and public health engagement. Developed strong skills in field coordination, stakeholder communication, and research reporting.
