Eligibility:

Candidates applying to Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Social Work and Counselling Practice (PGDCSW) should have passed any Bachelor’s Degree Examination of Mahatma Gandhi University or an equivalent degree of any other University recognized by the Mahatma Gandhi University.

Students completing under graduation program in March-May 2026 are also eligible to apply.

Those who wish to apply for the PGDCSW programme needs to complete the online application and pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs.250.

Selection Procedure:

Selection procedure for admission.

Upon receipt of the online application form, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI). Intimation regarding the interview will be sent to the shortlisted candidates via email to their registered email ID.

Personal Interview will be scheduled during March, April, May 2026.

A student can attend Personal Interview only once for 2026-Admissions.

Verification based on academic and other records will be completed prior to the day of Personal Interview. Once your Personal Interview is scheduled, you need to submit a scanned copy of your certificates, marksheets, and other documents (as mentioned in the interview call letter) to the email ID mentioned.

Admission will be based on the marks secured in the Personal Interview. Rank list will be prepared as per the regulations of the University.

Previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, non-academic achievements and other similar inputs are considered in shortlisting and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. You need to upload relevant documents in this regard at the time of submitting the application.

• Roman Catholic Syrian Christian (RCSC) candidates are eligible for reservation as per university guidelines. Candidates belonging to RCSC community need to submit a certificate from parish priest stating that the candidate belongs to RCSC community.
• Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (autonomous) follows regulations with respect to reservations as per the state government and university. Accordingly, if you are an eligible candidate for reservation, you need to submit the required documents at the time of submission of application.
• If I am admitted to the College, I will abide by the rules and regulations of the College and I will do nothing either inside or outside the college that will interfere with its orderly working, discipline and reputation.

• Request for change of date/time/venue of GDPI will not be entertained.

• Failure to appear for the selection process at the scheduled date and time will be treated as admission process incomplete and such candidates will not be included in the rank-list.
