The Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security (PGDCS), offered by the Department of Computer Science, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) in association with TechbyHeart, is a one-year, industry-focused program designed to develop advanced cybersecurity professionals. Conducted in offline mode and aligned with NCrF Level 6, this 40-credit program blends rigorous academic learning with immersive practical experience through labs, hackathons, live projects, and internships. The curriculum covers vital areas such as Ethical Hacking & VAPT, Network Security, Cyber Laws, Malware Analysis, AI and ML in Security, and Next-Generation SOC Operations. Guided by expert faculty from academia and industry, learners gain hands-on exposure to real-world threat detection, mitigation, and security operations. The program also offers a pathway to prestigious EC-Council certifications like CEH and CPENT. Tailored for IT professionals and graduates, the PGDCS features flexible evening sessions, empowering participants to advance their careers in cybersecurity while balancing professional commitments.

Admissions are offered twice a year — in January and July — providing flexibility for aspiring cybersecurity professionals to join at their convenience.
