ABOUT Rajagiri Family Counselling Centre:
Rajagiri Family Counselling Centre was established in October 1999 as a live lab of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. Funded by the Central Social Welfare Board, New Delhi, the main objective of the Centre is to strengthen the social fabric of the locality by providing counselling, referral and rehabilitative services to the client population who are victims of atrocities, family maladjustments and social ostracism. RFCC also works in close collaboration with the local administration, Police, Courts, free legal aid cells, medical and psychiatric institutions, vocational training centres, short stay homes etc.
Rajagiri Service Providing Centre:
Rajagiri Service providing centre was started in October 2008 in association with Rajagiri Family Counselling Centre. The centre provides free legal aid for the victims of Domestic Violence for three days a week. SPC comes under the ambit of Kerala State Social Welfare Board. Protection of women and children from family atrocities is one of the major focus of Service Providing Centre. Rajagiri Service providing centre also focus on empowering women through providing awareness classes, rehabilitation services, vocational training, medical assistance and other referral services.
