Dr. Sunirose I. P is an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous). She has over twenty years of experience in social work practice and teaching. She is an approved research guide at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She has conducted funded research for the Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala, the University Grants Commission (UGC), and the Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, focusing on child mental health, elderly, family violence, patients with substance use disorders, and disability.She is the recipient of the prestigious Global Change Leaders Certificate Program from the COADY International Institute, Canada. Additionally, she has presented at several international academic forums, including the University of Maryland, Nazareth College, and Yeshiva University in the USA.Dr.Sunirose also serves as a consultant to various organizations and is a member of Internal Complaints Committees (ICC) for prominent government bodies, including the High Court of Kerala, Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd and District Planning Board Ltd, Ernakulam as well as for entities in the corporate sector.Her other roles include Executive Director of the Research Institute Rajagiri, Director of the Family Counselling Centre at Rajagiri, and Member Secretary of the Rajagiri Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC). Her research interests include child and elderly welfare.
