Jacob Alias serves as an Assistant Professor at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences. With a wealth of teaching experience spanning over 5 years and 4 years of research experience, he has left an indelible mark on numerous prestigious colleges affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala. His doctoral thesis examines the portrayal of individuals' relentless quest to preserve a romantic temperament amidst the harsh realities of pain, mortality, and metaphysical turmoil. The research offers profound insights into the struggles and triumphs of those navigating the surrealistic landscapes of displacement and identity affirmation. Dr. Jacob possesses a keen acumen in research methodology, diasporic studies and gender studies.
