Mr. Mathew T. John completed his Post Graduation in Development from Azim Premji University, Bangalore, and has a teaching experience of more than 3 years in the field of Social Work. His work has been predominantly in the tribal settlements in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Nepal, working closely for their development and wellbeing. His areas of interest include Tribal Education, Caste, Class, Gender, Music and Social Change, Mental Health, and Theatre. The pedagogical tools that he uses in class vary from short stories, articles, novels, songs, cinema, and theatre, which thrive in discussions over lectures. Alongside his teaching career, he also has a successful career in music as a Singer/Songwriter and Music Producer and has released various songs on platforms like Youtube, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, etc.
