Ms. Aishwarya Paulson is an Assistant Professor of English in the Department of Languages. She completed her Graduation and Post-graduation from H.P.T Arts and R.Y.K Science College, Pune University, Maharashtra. She qualified NET in December 2018 and Maharashtra SET in 2016. She worked as a Communicative Lecturer in Narayana Hrudayalaya Paramedical College, Bangalore. She later served as an Assistant Professor in Kristu Jayanti College (Autonomous), Bangalore. She was actively involved in organizing both International and National Conferences, seminars and served as co-ordinators of different clubs. She has a flair for creative writing and has won awards in state and inter-collegiate levels.

  • Presented paper titled ‘The Adivasi will not dance: Articulating the Santhal Resistance’ in the National Seminar on ‘Articulating Silences: Indigenous narratives as resistance’ conducted by Chellammal Women’s College, Chennai on December 13, 2019.

  • Completed an online course in ‘History of English Language and Literature’ from IIT Madras and scored 100/ 81 in December 2019.
  • Studied Online Refresher Course in English Language Teaching on Swayam (ARPIT) portal with a score 100 / 70 in Apr 2019.

  • Stood 5th in M.A and 13th in B.A. exams in University Merit List.
  • In 2015 got 1st in Nashik district and twice received a merit of honour in the All-India Essay Writing Event held in 2012 and -13 by Shri Ram Chandra Mission along with UN Information Centre for India and Bhutan.
  • Secured 1st prize in Inter-Collegiate Essay Writing Competition held by Modern College, Pune in 2014.
  • Stood 1st in Gandhi Vichar Sanskar Pariksha conducted by Gandhi Research Foundation, Jalgaon.
  • Awarded the Certificate of Excellence in English Day’s Lit-Fest celebrations.
  • Secured 63rd Olympiad rank and ranked 6th in the state in the International Olympiad of English Language 2009.
