Ms Meghna Pothen is an academic scholar with major interests in research and clinical psychology. She completed her Bachelors in Psychology from Prajyoti Niketan College (Calicut University) and her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Manipal University). During her Bachelors, she had presented a paper in an International conference and has also participated in a number of national and international conferences. She has also published a paper in the International Journal of Science and Research (IJSTR). She has received rigorous practical training in clinical psychology at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal during her Masters. In 2022, she qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) and has previously worked in the psychology department of St. Teresa’s college as an Assistant professor.

- 2019: Completed Bachelors in Psychology from Prajyoti Niketan College, Calicut University
- Worked as an assistant professor in St. Teresa’s College Ernakulam (January to March 2021).
- Worked as a trainee in the Clinical Psychology Department of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
- Published a paper on “Achievement motivation, self-efficacy and life satisfaction: A comparative study among male and female government employees and entrepreneurs” in IJSR.
- Presented a paper titled “Achievement motivation, self-efficacy and life satisfaction: A comparative study among male and female government employees and entrepreneurs” in an international conference on entrepreunship conducted by the commerce department of Prajyoti Niketan College.
- Completed One week Online Training Program (FDP) on Statistical Data Analysis using SPSS Software organized by Science Tech Institute, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh during May 21 to 27, 2022.
- Attended the EBSCO training program organized by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences.
- Part of the content writing team of the Psych Club of Manipal Institute of Technology.
- Conducted a 2 day skill development workshop for class 10th and 12th students of Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar in February 2021.
- Voluntereed for AISEC events to help differently abled individuals and to spread awareness on SDGs to school students (Unity International School) in 2021.
- Attended a hands-on workshop on art therapy conducted by Fortis hospital in 2020.
- Attended a 3 day workshop on Hypnosis and its use in therapy conducted by Dr.Gini K Gopinath in 2020 in association with YOurDost.
- Attended a one day regional workshop on Crisis intervention during the Kerala floods 2018.
- Attended a one day national conference on Youth and Mental health in 2018.
- Attended a one day national seminar on “Remapping the psychodynamics of depression” in 2017.
