Dr. Shaik Sofia Rani holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability and Organizational Design from the Department of Design, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. Her research interests are in Sustainability, Life Cycle Assessment, Techno-economic Assessment, Competency indicators and Human Resource Management. Dr. Sofia has publications in reputed international journals like SETA, IJGW, Energies, IOP series and so on. She has also participated in and presented at various international conferences. Apart from having 3 year teaching experience as Assistant Professor, she has an industrial experience of 6 years and served as Human Resource Manager before pursuing her doctorate. Dr. Sofia provided her services in the Learning and Development area where she trained multiple employees on corporate behavior and managerial communication procedures. She has also served in other core areas of Human Resources like recruitment, performance appraisal and compensation management. Along with these, she delivered talks to undergraduate and postgraduate management students on real-time corporate issues and culture. She has been invited as a speaker at international and national conferences.
