Dr. Lijo K J has completed Ph.D. in Psychology from Bharthiar University in 2014. He has a Post Graduate degree in M.Sc Applied Psychology. He has completed an additional Post Graduate degree in MBA (HRM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development.  He qualified the National Eligibility Test and Kerala State Eligibility Test in 2012. His research interest is in Psychological Resilience, Community Psychology, and Educational Psychology. His areas of teaching interest are Positive Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Social Psychology, Experimental Psychology, and Psychological statistics.

INNOVATIVE PRACTICES AT WORKPLACE

  • Started Consultancybetween the Department of Psychology, Prajyoti Niketan College, Pudukad and XeoScript Technology, Thrissur in 2019. The objective was providing consultation on various employment welfare program such as training and development, appraisal and selection and recruitment.
  • Started eight Community Projects in the department for benefiting community and PG students.  All the projects were completed successfully with in the stipulated time.
  • Initiated a Career Guidance Cell in the Department of Psychology to provide guidance and counselling for students in Government Schools.
