Eligibility:

Graduation In Mathematics or Statistics main or B.Sc. (triple Main) with Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science as main subject with at least 50 % marks for the optional subjects taken together.

The degree must be recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University.

Students who are in the final year of their undergraduate program and will complete it between March and May 2026 are also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:

A multi-stage selection procedure is followed for admission.

Upon receipt of the online or duly filled application form, shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the Rajagiri Statistics Entrance Examination and Personal Interview (PI). Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email to their registered email ID. Shortlisting will be based on eligibility criteria.

Rajagiri Statistics Entrance Exam 2026:

Rajagiri Statistics Entrance Exam is conducted by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous). The general scheme of Entrance exam consists of multiple-choice type questions for measuring the candidate’s: (a) Statistical aptitude (b)Mathematical aptitude (c) Logical reasoning and (d) Computational skills.

Entrance Exam-PI will be scheduled during March, April, May 2026.

A student can attend Entrance Exam-PI only once for 2026-Admissions.

Verification based on academic and other records will be completed prior to the day of Entrance Exam-PI. Once your Entrance Exam-PI is scheduled, you need to submit the scanned copy of certificates, marksheets and other documents (as mentioned in Entrance exam-PI call letter) to the email ID mentioned.

Admission will be based on the marks secured in the Entrance exam and Personal Interview.

Previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, non-academic achievements and other similar inputs are considered in shortlisting and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. You need to upload relevant documents in this regard at the time of submitting the application.
