SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) is a widely used software tool for statistical analysis and data management. A value-added course in SPSS can provide students with advanced skills and techniques for working with data and conducting statistical analysis. The course will cover topics such as data preparation, data cleaning, data visualization, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and advanced statistical techniques such as regression analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

  • Perform data preparation and data cleaning techniques in SPSS
  • Create and interpret descriptive statistics such as measures of central tendency and variability
  • Conduct hypothesis testing using inferential statistics in SPSS
  • Conduct and interpret results of advanced statistical techniques such as regression analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis in SPSS
  • Interpret and present statistical results in a clear and concise manner.
