The Department of Psychology, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) is organizing an International Webinar on Suicide Prevention among Young Adults. This webinar has been organised in the month of September during which we observe the World Suicide Prevention Day. Since WHO has reported Suicide as the fourth leading cause of death among young adults, we have also targeted the population of young adults.
Aims of the Webinar:
- Create an Awareness
- Point out Factors Contributing to Suicide
- Provide Methods for Primary Prevention
- Introduce Intervention Strategies
