Thomas A Mattappallil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Cochin, Kerala. He completed his under graduation in BA Journalism, Political Science and English from Kristu Jayanti College, Bangalore, India, Post-graduation in MA in English with Communication Studies from CHRIST (Deemed to Be University), Bangalore, Karnataka, and MPhil in English from Mary Matha College, Tamil Nadu and currently pursuing PhD English from CHRIST (Deemed to Be University), Bangalore, Karnataka. He has eight years of teaching experience at various self-financed colleges. His academic and research interests include Comparative Literature, American Literature, Postmodern Literature and Lockdown Literature. He has published articles in Scopus-indexed journals, UGC-approved journals, and poems in book chapters. He has presented papers and participated in various international and national conferences.
