After 22 years of service as Physical education teacher in various Government colleges in Kerala, he retired as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Physical Education, Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam in 2017. He completed his MPEd from Annamalai University and took his Ph.D in Exercise Physiology from Madras University. He has coordinated various university and inter-collegiate tournaments and athletic meets. He is a regular consultant in matters related to his domain. He is a renowned state-level badminton referee.
