World ozone day- poster making competition was conducted by the encon club of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, from 14th september 2020, to 20th september 2020.
September 16th is designated by the UN general assembly as the International day for the preservation of the ozone layer.
The depletition of the ozone layer can lead the earth towards a mass extinction. So it’s time to come together to do our bit for the preservation of the environment around us.
There were 12 entries for the competition and all the entries were posted on the official instagram page of encon club. The first prize of the competition was aquired by Irene Elizabeth Joseph of bsw 2nd year.
The second prize of the competition was aquired by Sneha Elizabeth of bsw 1st year and third prize Eirene Durom of bsw 3rd year. The competition was successful and the club received so many good posters that can convey good messages about ozone layer depletition.
