Ann Kurian is a dedicated and passionate Social Work professional with a rich academic background and practical experience in the field. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kochi, and a Bachelor's degree from Madras Christian College, Chennai. Ann's commitment to promoting social justice, human rights, and well-being is reflected in her diverse experiences and active involvement in various social work initiatives.As a Graduate Assistant at the Department of Social Work, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, she is currently engaged in academic and practical pursuits, further enriching her knowledge and skills in the field. Her practical experience includes internships with organizations such as the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU) and AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) India Cares, where she contributed significantly to social causes. She has also actively participated in fieldwork placements, working with diverse international and local groups and communities, including placements with the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Her leadership abilities are evident through her roles as a Student Coordinator for international conferences and social work congresses, as well as her involvement in various student clubs and organizations, continuing to do so in her current work profile.
