The inauguration of the 'Koode' Senior Citizen's Club took place on November 18, 2023, with notable dignitaries gracing the occasion. Aluva Taluk Tahasildar, Mr. Sunil Mathew, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the significance of fostering community ties among senior citizens.
Dr Fr. Joseph Kaniyamparambil, Vicar of Kanjoor St. Mary's Church presided over the function. Dr. Kiran Thampi, Head of the Social Work Department at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, honored the occasion as the chief guest.
The inauguration also featured Mrs. Meena Kuruvila, Project Director of Rajagiri Outreach, and Mr. Ranjith K.U., Development Officer, who elaborated on the planned follow-up activities for the club.
A commendable turnout of 160 participants marked the success of the inaugural event.
