Dr. Jeena Shaji began teaching English at CMS College Kottayam Autonomous as an Assistant Professor after completing her PhD. Her doctorate in English Language and Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, which focused on women's narrative and feminist film theory, provided a better perspective for her to write a thorough work on feminist theory. She has published articles in journals that are Scopus-indexed and UGC-approved. She received her MA from Calicut University and BA from MG University, where she also earned her university rank. She is a scriptwriter and has produced award-winning short films which speak about women’s issues. Being a digital content creator, she has published multiple episodes of podcasts and slam poetry on numerous social media platforms. She also holds the position of Podcast Contributor at Onmanorama, which is the English News Website of Malayala Manorama.
