Learning Beyond the Classroom: Industry Engagement at Induction 2026
The Department of Management and Professional Studies (DMPS), Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous), Kalamassery, organized a series of Industry Interaction Sessions as part of the BBA (Hons.) and Integrated MBA (IMBA) Induction Programme 2026. The initiative was designed to provide students with meaningful exposure to the corporate world and help them understand the expectations, opportunities, and challenges that await them as future management professionals.
The programme featured an eminent panel of industry leaders and entrepreneurs, including Mr. Kamal Mampilly (CHRO, Geojit), Mr. Binod Krishna Purushothaman (Head – HR, Impactive, Kochi), Mr. John Mathai Paul (Paul’s Creamery), Ms. Daya Tony (Senior Vice President & Cluster Head, Yes Bank), Mr. Nikhil Gopalakrishnan (CEO, Pentad Securities), Ms. Prasita Prasad (Head HR, Adesso India), Mr. Shivdas B. Menon (Managing Director, Sterling Group of Companies), and Mr. Rijo Thomas (Recruitment Leader, EY GDS).
Drawing from their diverse professional experiences, the speakers shared valuable insights on leadership, career readiness, innovation, industry expectations, and the importance of continuous learning in a rapidly evolving business environment. Their interactions encouraged students to think beyond academic boundaries and develop the competencies, mindset, and professional values required to excel in the corporate world.
